Someone finally developed a bogus/scamming application called ‘closing down’ on Facebook!!…. Bravo *claps hands like a seal*

I was understandably confuzzled when clicking into my notifications to find the sentance “you’re profile has been reported” When clicking on ‘view details’ it took me to a dating site? It then began to churn out spamming messgaes to some of my other friends, telling them exactley the same rubbish. Im no fool on the ye old computer so I immediatley thought “hmmm, nice try” *yawns* “But I’ve seen alot better” Thought nothing more about it…

Then, I log into my profile a few hours later to find a wall comment which read “why have you reported me?” A little annoying I thought, then I recieved exactley the same message from someone else!! These people were understandably & initially taken aback therefore, were qiute right to message me! For me its nothing major, I know exactley what type of things go on, on the net. Number 1. because I love computers & spend alot of time learning about different things & number 2. my fella is a computer whizz & teaches me even more!!

I am however, a little suprised to find this only happening now! For as long as FaceBook has been around I’ve never seen any Bogus Applications. Either that, or I just haven’t come across one yet. “What took you little computer geeenius’s so long eh!?” The thing is, any tom, dick or harry can develop an application sooo, It suprising there haven’t been tonnes more! Although there were a mass load of System Error Checks being sent out in notifications. I can only assume the same there maybe?

Oh well, better late than never I guess, although I do still think it’s a pretty lame way of trying to get people to visit boring sites like the one I was taken to!! Craftyness at its best ay…..
