LEGOLAND!

By Jordan on May 5, 2009

(Quick Home-Life Update, I don’t normally do many of these)legoland

So, we decided to take a visit to LegoLand (windsor) on Saturday, just Me, Steve (Hubby) and Alfie (my little 5 year old) It was awesome! Way better than any Theme Park that’s for sure. There were no immature little teenage punks wandering around (like there were the day Me & Steve visited Thorpe Park) It was a real nice day out. We thought that, by just taking Alfie, we could give him our undivided attention, something he deserves after he’s done so well at adjusting to the new arrival of little Nathan!

Alfie loved it. He had a go at Gold Rush which, is where you have to sift through lots of sand to find tiny pieces of Golden Nuggets, which in turn is traded in for a shiny Gold Medal!!

It’s a great place for Kids & Adults alike & I would love to go again. They had a Aztec Show which was Amazing! Lots of Acrobatics which Alfie was VERY pleased with, me too! I just love all that type of stuff….although, sitting out in the hot sun for 30 minutes whilst watching the show didn’t do my arms any favours!! Boy was I sorry! Bloody Unpredictable English Weather!! I knew it was going to be warm but man, It was BOILING!

MiniLand was Awesome, I haven’t seen Alfie that excited in a long time. He was absolutely amazed at the fact that everything in Mini Land was made entirely from Lego (He’s mad about Lego) You can see all the LegoLand pictures in the ‘Out & About’ Folder in The Photo’s Tab. There were little cities with moving cars, just driving around. A little Tube Station, A Stadium, The HSBC Building & even the BT Tower.

There were some great rides, like The Space Tower which Steve took Alfie on!

In a way, It kinda reminded my of Disney? Lovely & clean!

It wasn’t the cheapest day out but, it was money well spent, seeing Alfie’s little face light up was (and always is) PRICELESS!

P.S I got myself a ‘Mr Crabs’ Keyring! My favourite character from SpongeBob SquarePants! Woooo!

  1. Wasn’t the cheapest day out? You practically have to remortgage to cover the cost of a day there – didn’t stop us going twice last year though!
