Ok is it me or, were children’s programs a lot better when we were younger? I’m thinking yes, who’s with me? Anywho, you probably think it’s a rather stange subject to bring up however, my life at the moment is my children (hence the lack of posts) & their life ‘partially’ revolves around the TV so, add those 2 together and I have to witness a mother load of kids programs. I thought I’d share my thoughts on one particular program which, quite frankly, makes my skin crawl. Not only does it have one of THE most irritating theme songs (next to Little Einstein’s) but, the characters totally freak me out. They’re a group of Russian type dolls called ‘The Higgly Town Hero’s’ who randomly pull things out from their stomachs! Food, utensils, LADDERS! No wonder kids are so confused these days. See this dude below fixing that sink well, he most probably pulled that spanner from his gut….Wrong!
Whatever happened to the Thundercats! Or Ulysses 31?? The City of Gold?? POB for heavens sake, does anyone remember Pob? He was a legend, the little puppet who breathed hot air onto a window & wrote his name in it!? I could go on forever! *daydreams about childhood* For anyone who wasn’t lucky enough to know who Pob was, thats him below
